I hate leaving negative reviews because the ladies were genuinely kind, and my nail technician did a great job with the actual pedicure. Unfortunately, I came in hoping for a relaxing, spa-like experience, and it was the opposite. The footrest wouldn’t stay in place, so I had to hold it steady with my foot the entire appointment to keep it from flipping onto my technician (which made my knees hurt badly). There was no massage chair, no leg massage, and the foot scrub/massage lasted only a minute or two. The atmosphere was very loud. Staff members were on speakerphone, a sweet but energetic toddler was running around, and one of the men had a soccer match blasting on the salon TV while loudly talking to it. It made it difficult to relax. The regular polish selection was also very limited. They didn’t have a color that matched my dress, and I was encouraged to choose a different quick-dry polish instead, so I settled for a color I didn’t really want. On the positive side, the pedicure was only $35, which is an excellent value. They also never asked for a tip, which I really appreciated and found refreshing. I happily left one because my technician deserved it. They also provided disposable flip-flops. Based on the many great reviews, I think this salon may be a better fit if you’re looking for detailed artificial nails. However, if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing pedicure experience, this probably isn’t the place. The ladies were very nice, but the overall atmosphere created by the men in the salon didn’t feel calm or spa-like.
